FEYROUZ SERHAL / THE THIRD RAHBANI
Lebanese filmmaker Feyrouz Serhal got her Masters degree in Film and Screen Studies at the Goldsmith College University in London. Prior to that she had worked as a director and creative producer at some of the most prominent Arab TV channels in the Middle East.
Feyrouz has written and directed several independent short video works. Her short narrative film Tshweesh won The Film Prize of Robert Bosch Stiftung at the Berlinale in 2016, and premiered at Locarno Film Festival in 2017. In 2023.
Since then, Feyrouz has finished two short fiction films: I Come From The Sea, which premiered at the Shanghai International Film Festival in 2023, and Sen Ti, and the feature documentary, The Third Rahbani.
She is now working on her first narrative feature film, ‘ Am Here But You Can’t See Me.
