She won the Golden Gate Award for Best Actress in San Francisco for her role in the Turkish film 'Razn'; and has a supporting role in "Wadjda" the first feature directed by a female Saudi filmmaker.
Ahd serves on the juries of Tropfest and the Emirates film competition in Abu Dhabi.
