ADIOS CARMEN

€0.00

Its 1975. Ten-year-old Amar lives in a village in northern Morocco with his violent uncle, eagerly awaiting the unlikely return of his mother, who's left him for Belgium.

He finds a much needed friend in his neighbor, Carmen, a Spanish exile from the Franco regime. Their unlikely friendship develops through the bond of cinema, and sheds light on the ancient and complicated story that connects Spaniards and Moroccans.

Adios Carmen invokes such italian classics as Il Postino and Cinema Paradiso
