Shot in stark black and white, and under the guise of a documentary, an Algerian woman journalist crisscrosses the land asking people on the street, academics and religious leaders, in cities, towns and villages to respond to the concept of the 72 willing virgins awaiting an Islamic martyr the minute he enters paradise. Investigating Paradise premiered at the Panorama Documentary section of the Berlin Film Festival in 2017.
