Mohamed Diab is one of the most prominent young screenwriters in Egypt. Diab comes from the city of Ismailia, east of Cairo, where he attended university and earned a degree in commerce. Soon after he took a leap of faith and went on to New York Film Academy in 2005 to explore his passion for cinematic writing. He has written 5 films to date, including his latest Cairo 678, which marks his directorial debut.
