Amr Salama / Asmaa
Asmaa is Egyptian director Amr Salama's second feature. His critically acclaimed first feature, "On A Day Like Today" (08) won him the title of 2008's Best New Coming Director, and he was honored as the "Star of the Future" by the Alexandria International Film Festival.
Prior to Asmaa, Amr co-directed "The Politician" segment in the acclaimed documentary "Tahrir 2011: The Good, The Bad & The Politician" which premiered at the Venice International Film Festival and won the UNESCO award and we showed during ANA 2012.
In addition to working on docs and features, Amr also directs ads, music videos, and TV series.
